Generally speaking there are two types of premium service. There is the standard premium service as offered regularly between major trade centers, ie, London to New York, and there are specialist premium services such as from London to a remote oil field that requires unscheduled use of services such as a chartered flight.
At Giant Logistics we can offer premium services for all situations.
Courier Services: Priority courier services often utilise a dedicated agent to ship your document or parcel from desk to desk. In times of need Giant Logistics staff will often make this flight themselves, ensuring that your item gets to where it needs to be in the shortest amount of time possible.
Chartered Flights: Almost any type of aircraft can be chartered from a 2 seater cargo plane with a 1 ton cargo capacity right up to a Boeing 747 with a 100 ton cargo capacity. Whilst more costly, chartered services give you the flexibility to deliver your cargo to exactly where you want it (any airstrip) at exactly the right time. Chartered flights are often used by major bands on world tours that require their stage sets and equipment to be shipped around between tour dates. Chartered services offer the greatest level of flexibility.
AOG (Aircraft On The Ground): AOG services are aimed at getting vital components to aircraft on foreign runways that are unable to take off without a vital component. This can vary from an engine part through to an electronic circuit board or something as mundane as a fire extinguisher. Time spent on the ground can be expensive for any airline, large or small. Giant Logistics can arrange for the shipment of spares directly from source to the destination in the quickest possible time. This service is mainly dependent on the customer knowing where the spare is located as Giant Logistics do not hold a spares stock or source spares on demand.
